The spirit of rock n’ roll is alive and well at Festival d’été de Québec as the two-week long festival keeps the party going in Québec City. Kicking off the night, Ontario’s own The Dirty Nil took to the main stage with the gritty rock music and infectious live energy fans have come to expect from them. The Struts hit the stage next and kicked it up a notch with their punchy blend of classic rock attitude and modern pop beats before rock legends The Who took over. Playing hits like “Who Are You,” “My Generation,” and “Pinball Wizard,” the band proved that they’ve still got it, and probably always will, because, well it’s The Who. Check out our photos from the unforgettable night!

I’ve been involved in music my whole life and have developed a passion for helping out or working in the industry any way I can. I’m interested in helping talented artists gain the recognition they deserve in this crazy business. I am currently studying Communication Studies at York University in Toronto, and working at a local theatre doing marketing and communications, as well as helping out a local festival called Rock the Coliseum. Indie, alt-rock/pop, and metal are my favourites but I’m open to all music genres! If I’m not at a show, I’m doing yoga, grabbing coffee, or looking for some craft beer.
