Photo Review – iHeartRadio WestFest

First time in Calgary, the unforgettable iHeartRadio WestFest event took place on Saturday, July 8^th at Shaw Millennium Park. The heat in the full sun was so extreme, that crowd was sizzling like on a frying pan. With no shade in sight, thankfully organizers provided free water, and misted the public to help cool them off in the hot sun.

In spite of the pervasive sun, fans braved the heat filling the area in front of the stage, cheering performers screaming loud enough to drown out the music.

The 2017 iHeartRadio WestFest stage hosted some of the hottest names in music featuring Hedley, Fifth Harmony, Iggy Azalea, Noah Cyrus, Scott Helman, Ria Mae, Midland, Massari, Ruth B, Christian Hudson, Virginia To Vegas.

It was the largest off site venue during this year’s Calgary Stampede. I look forward to next year as this concert series promises to continue to bring some of the world’s most exciting acts to Calgary for years to come.
