Perfect timing for Canada Day, Toronto roots rockers, Johnson Crook share a great cross Canada country road trip inspired video.
The video for the bluesy rock-and-roll track was shot by Ryan Nolan and showcases the band traveling from province to province.
“We had a lot of fun making this video with our friend Ryan,” the band comments. “It’s something we have a lot of experience with…life on the road. It’s not always easy to be away from home and family but we still manage to have a lot of fun together. We appreciate getting to share our music and love to play this song live. It’s got a lot of energy, which seems to resonate with our audiences and it gives us a chance to feature Nathan on harmonica!”
It’s impossible not to feel connected to this video as a Canadian!

My name is Marianne and a music lover from Nova Scotia. I am a full time working mom of 2 beautiful girls who are full of life and love. I have an absolute passion for music and writing, I jumped at the opportunity to freelance for Canadian Beats. I love local music, I grew up in a family full of Gaelic singers in Cape Breton but I also have a passion for country and just about anything else that catches my ear. Writing gives me something of my own that is completely out of my day to day activity, it somewhat allows me to escape my everyday.
When I am not working, writing and hanging out with my husband and girls, I am running, reading or riding my horse.
