Brigitte Boisjoli : Boisjoli just very recently added being a mother to her already impressive resume. On June 13, 2017 Boisjoli welcomed her newborn baby Charlie and is currently taking a break over a couple months to enjoy being a mother and prime herself for a very busy end of summer. Since the release of her third studio album, Patsy Cline Boisjoli has been on the road bringing country classics and the music of Patsy Cline to the stage. Recently Boisjoli has been hitting the studio with a release currently scheduled for October 13, 2017. Boisjoli has announced that the songs will feature the work of famed songwriter, Luc Plamondon. August 3, 2017 will mark Boisjoli’s scheduled return to the stage, with a busy August, September, and October she will return with her homage to Patsy Cline and country music along with some new music. With the release of her fourth studio album ahead, and tour dates already being scheduled for 2018, you will be hearing tons more from this talented Drummondville, QC beauty.

Carissa Vales : Vales released the deluxe version of her debut album Burning Your Love earlier this year on March 31, 2017. With its hot and totally danceable tracks, Vales shows off her skills throughout the disc including her ability to write and perform in not one, but three languages. Since the release of Burning Your Love Deluxe, Vales has been hitting the stage throughout Montreal and Quebec for some high energy and well praised performances. Collaborations with fellow Québécois artists such as May Wells, Étienne Drapeau, and Quentin Delcourt prove just how versatile and creative Vales can be. From her carefully crafted original pop sounds and lyrics, to her artistic take on mega hit such as Lady Gaga’s “Million Reasons” or Selena’s “Como la Flor” Vales never gives less than her best. Vales is always working on something creative and we can’t wait to see what she turns out next.

Stéphanie St-Jean : St-Jean was crowned the winner of La Voix season 4 in 2016 as part of Pierre Lapointe’s team and has now released her self-titled debut album on May 5, 2017 earlier this year. With the albums single “Ma chamber” reaching over 100 thousand spins on Spotify and other music streaming services, fans can’t get enough of St-Jean’s soulful and powerful vocals. Stéphanie St-Jean is a well-rounded album and a strong debut from this talented vocalist. Full of joyful, jazzy, and unique arrangements I especially love St-Jean’s take on the classic “Oh Happy Day,” and one of my favorite tunes on the disc is a tossup between “À toute allure” and “Relève-toi.” St-Jean continues to captivate fans as she is currently on tour and promoting her album throughout the end of the 2017 summer season.

Audrey Mary : Mary is a musical newcomer. With her debut solo single “I Put Your Love On Top,” released on March 3, 2017 the track is making its way around social media, and being sent out and added to radio stations. The infectious tune is a sign of what is to come from this talented young artist. Mary worked on the new track with Lucky Rose who alone has millions of Spotify hits and some tops songs under her belt. At only 24 years old, Mary has the makings to create some great music and launch her musical career. We will be keeping an eye on Mary as she emerges into the world of music.

Aaron Esteban : Esteban is another music newcomer. With his Latin and urban influences, Esteban has released the single “I Love Your Mmm Mmm.” With the video released earlier this year, the song has reached thousands across streaming and downloading platforms as Esteban continues to pursue his musical career. Born in Montreal, Esteban was surrounded by music from a young age and always knew in his heart that he wanted to create music. Esteban has some performances scheduled this summer including a spot during the Montreal 375 festivities. “I Love Your Mmm Mmm” is definitely a summer song and would be a great add to this season’s playlist.
