Ontario’s finest country musicians put on their best and strut their stuff down the red carpet at the CMA Ontario 2017 Awards at Centennial Hall in London last night. Here are a few of our favourite moments captured by our own Nicole Wolfe. For complete coverage of the red carpet, check out our Facebook page.
Brothers, John and James Abrams, never disappoint when it comes to a red carpet appearance. We thought they looked dapper in their coordinated outfits!
Jason brought along his beautiful family with him from their home in Nashville. He was proud to present the inspiration to his song, “Dance With My Daughter” and even his littlest tribe member took a walk down the red carpet!
Stunning in pink, Patricia made her mark on the red carpet. We were honoured to catch up with her several times over the weekend at the R2I Conference.
One of our favourite dresses of the evening was worn by the lovely Genevieve Fisher!
Jessica represented her home town of London with grace. What is your secret, Jessica? Every time we see you, you are even more stunning than the last!
James Barker Band
Hamming it up for the camera was a band that has absolutely exploded into the market this year, the James Barker Band. Relaxed and casual, these gentlemen made their mark on the red carpet last night!
River Town Saints
These gents are known to stir up a little craziness wherever they are. Last night was no exception! Head over to our Instagram page to catch a glimpse of the backstage shenanigans. We were left baffled, however, why McComb did not sport his eye-catching shorts that he wore to the CMA Ontario Charity Softball Challenge early in the week!
We loved this adorable moment between Kelly Prescott and her father, well-known music producer, Randall Prescott. Kelly had to coax her father to the red carpet for the picture as he stood on the sidelines, not wanted to take the attention away from his daughter.
We are fairly certain this picture speaks for itself. But we are not sure if he was whisked away to be detained again after the night was over!
In an industry where torn jeans and t-shirts are the signature look, Alessia always looks elegant both on and off stage. She looked beautiful in her off-the-shoulder floral gown.

I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
