From June 28 to July 8, 2017 the 38th edition of Festival International de Jazz de Montreal will be taking place. With over 2 million festival goers, 600 concerts, 400 activities and events, 3000 musicians from 30 countries, 250,000 tourists, 9 outdoor stages, 10 concert venues and over 300 accredited journalists, it is sure to be a blast. Music will pour from various areas throughout downtown Montreal for 10 days and 10 nights.
Some of the many acts featured on this year’s schedule are Feist, Walk Off The Earth, The Strumbellas, BROS, Barbra Lica, Carly Rae Jepsen, Bobby Bazini and so many more.
This year, the Festival International de Jazz de Montreal highlights the exceptional contributions to music made by Charlie Musselwhite, Lizz Wright, Jack DeJohnette, Buika and Christine Jensen as well as the remarkable oeuvre of Michael Bourne. The winners will be presented with their respective awards during the festival.
