Sasktel Jazz Fest Announces the Ultimate Fan Contest
The Ultimate Fan Contest is back!
The Sasktel Jazz Fest is excited to announce the 2017 edition of the ULTIMATE FAN CONTEST! In partnership with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Tourism Saskatoon, the winning contestant will be treated to the Ultimate Fan experience.
One lucky winner, (yes one, not split among a group of winners!) will be treated to a prize package value exceeding over $1, 500.00! The winning package includes two tickets to EACH of the TD Mainstage (Bessborough Gardens) headlining events – Ziggy Marley (June 28), Michael Franti and Spearhead (June 29), Feist (June 30) and Arrested Development / Talib Kweli (July 1).
That’s not all! The winner also receives a three night stay at the beautiful river-scenic Park Town Hotel, a gif card from the 2nd Ave. Grill, a Jazz Festival merchandise gift card and a surprise Swag Bag.

The Riz is a prolific multi-genre songwriter, lyricist, writer and bassist for “Demolition Rock” sensation Ultimate Power Duo. A staple of the Saskatoon music scene, he has toured extensively across Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. The Riz is also the composer and saxophone player for R. Muttering, an avant-garde soundscape improvisational electro-acoustic performance art and recording group. Besides his Bachelor of Music in Music Education (B. Mus. (Mus. Ed.) / B. Ed. (Mus.)) from the University of Saskatchewan, he has amazing comic and vinyl collections.
