On May 20, 2017 the fifth annual World Fiddle Day Toronto takes place at Aga Khan Museum. There will be 100 fiddlers playing tunes from all over the world accompanied by a stellar back-up band consisting of world percussion, clarinet and keys. Special guest artists are Pascal Gemme/ Yann Falquet (Quebec fiddle/guitar), Kousha Nakhaei (Persian fiddle), Amely Zhou (erhu), Anne Lindsay (Jazz, original music) and DnA (Diana and Andrew Dawydchak – Ontario Fiddle/stepdance) who’ll lead morning workshops, then perform at an evening concert in the Aga Khan Auditorium.
