Today, Sawdust City Music Festival presented by TD announced their full line-up for the inaugural 3-day festival this August 4-6 in Gravenhurst, ON. The festival is the creative brainchild of Canadian singer/songwriter, Musician and label owner, Miranda Mulholland. The festival will consist of 3 nights of music at the Sawdust City Brewery, an evening of music at the Opera House, a free Songwriters’ Workshop, a Sawdust Stripped Down acoustic series in various small venues around town, and a free concert on Sunday evening as part of Music on the Barge series (a 50+ year tradition).
The Sawdust City Music Festival is excited to announce that TD has come on board as title sponsor for the first-time event. Over the years, TD has provided a great deal of support and commitment to a number of Canadian musical and community events from Coast to Coast, and the Sawdust City Music Festival is both proud and pleased to be a recipient of their generosity and goodwill toward the Canadian music community.
The festival is excited to also announce a relationship with Bullfrog Power for the inaugural launch. “Bullfrog Power is proud to be partnering with Sawdust City Music Festival to ensure that an equivalent amount of green electricity goes onto the grid to match the amount of conventional power the festival uses. Through our partnership, we’re reducing the event’s environmental impact, raising awareness of renewable energy and taking action on climate change,” said Anthony Santilli, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Bullfrog Power.
