Calgary Folk Festival announces additions to 2017 lineup

Calgary, AB- July 27th-30th 2017 marks the 37th annual Calgary Folk Festival. Founded in 1980, the festival hosts and celebrates over 70 artists on 6 daytime and 2 evening stages at Calgary’s beautiful Princes Island Park. Calgary Folk Festival is big part of the city’s musical culture, bringing in thousands of music lovers every year.
Having already released earlier this year that the 2017 festival would be headlined by Canadian favourite Blue Rodeo, Calgary Folk Fest has just released the full list of artists attending this year, including two more headliners sure to bring in the crowds, Barenaked Ladies and City And Colour. If that was enough of an incentive to purchase your tickets before they are gone, the list adds many, many, many more. Also on the list are acts like AM static, Ballroom Thieves, The Cactus Blossoms, Coeur de Pirate, Lucy Dacus, The East Pointers, Langhorne Slim, Lindi Ortega, Whitney Rose, The Summer Brothers, and seriously soo many more! The full schedule is set to be released in June and tickets are on sale now, don’t wait, these tickets never last long!
