Who: Said The Whale & Fast Romantics
Venue: Lee’s Palace
Where: Toronto, ON
Last week at Lee’s Palace in Toronto, West Coast indie rockers, Said The Whale celebrated the beginning of their cross-Canada tour and the release of the album with back-to-back shows with Fast Romantics, who are joining them on tour. The show was completely SOLD OUT and there was definitely not an empty spot in the venue. Fans packed in to see this highly recognizable Canadian talent and even brought along party hats to cap off the celebration! Canadian Beats contributor, Nicole Wolfe, was there to catch the action.
Said The Whale
I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
