Toronto’s Every Last Chance recently released their third single “All For Love” from their debut self-titled EP. I had the opportunity to ask ELC more about their music.
First off, can you introduce to yourself to Canadian Beats readers who might not be familiar with your work?
Hi – I’m Every Last Chance (haha!) More sincerely, “Every Last Chance” is really a collection of different collaborators and writers filtered through myself. Pulling from various writing styles my music is meant to be electronic leaning pop music.
Who are your influences?
Well, not to give a super classic answer, but there’s lots of examples from a www.buy-trusted-tablets.com
wide variety of artists and writers. Obviously the time honored answers, “The Beatles, The Police” but also I love new artists like Snakehips, Major Lazer, Julia Michaels and some great Rock / Alternative artists like Bob Moses, The Glorious Sons and a million others!
What was the writing and recording process for your self-titled EP like?
It was really just a series of smaller collaborations. I always had the end goal of compiling a body of work, so it was really just that direction every time I would work with artists and vocalists. I wanted to make the sound this sort of catch all for things that I liked.
The album features the new single “All For Love.” Can you tell us the inspirations behind the track?
To be honest, the track is really just about how much of a romantic sucker I am. It was largely based on (at the time) the last date I had, and how I couldn’t really get myself together. It’s like “giving a presentation to your class but you know it isn’t going well” – but in a romantic sense, that sort of thing, haha!
What can fans look forward to seeing from you during 2017?
More music! Different production directions, compelling singers, just trying to make music that I like (and hopefully other people like as well!)
At Canadian Beats, we like to include several fun questions to allow fans to get to learn a bit more about you.
Who are your favourite Canadian artists?
I really like Virginia To Vegas, that’s some fun pop music. Drake (of course), Kai (she sang that flume track) and a guy I work with a lot David Spekter, we work well together.
What was the first concert you attended?
It was The Tragically Hip and Our Lady Peace (THE MOST CANADIAN ANSWER, EVER)
What was the last album you purchased?
Kehlani – Sweet, Sexy, Savage
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and what would you want to do/see?
Japan! It is hands down one of the best places in the world – I would just want to soak it in, enjoy the cultural, see what’s unique and interesting.
Finally, is there anything else you would like to say to our readers?
Thank you for listening! It’s more and more important every day that people are taking chances on independent music, that’s how artists can continue to entertain and deliver new music. I can’t say enough how much it means to have the support of fans and listeners!

Hi Everyone! My name is Remington Fioraso. I am a graduate of the University of the Fraser Valley’s Bachelor of Arts program in Sociology, Anthropology, and Media and Communication Studies. Within my program, I focused on social media, learning about contemporary and classical sociological theory (Including Marx, Foucault, Bourdieu, and Durkheim), and communicating effectively in various modes and for different audiences (including oral communication, business communication, academic writing, entertainment media, and presentations utilizing visual media). Within my program, the question arose for many courses, “What is the relevance in the real world?” Stepping (temporarily) away from being in university, I gained an interest in Latin American development, social movements, and business. Sooner than later, I will be applying for post-grad programs to dive further into LA development and social movements to gain a theory-background in addition to a personal perspective onto the topics. In my free time, I love to travel, consume media, eat, listen to music, and write. Listening to music and writing led to my interest in working with Canadian Beats! I have been a part of the team since April 2014. A few of my personal highlights of interviews include ones with some of my favourite artists – Sumo Cyco, Madeline Merlo, and High Valley.
