Josh Ross’ Video Cover of Lady Antebellum’s “You Look Good”

Josh Ross is an up-and-coming Ontario-based, Canadian Country Artist who we first met up with at the 2016 Magna Hoedown in Aurora, Ontario. He wowed the audience and the judges that night.

Today, February 10, 2017, Ross is releasing a brand new music video. It is a cover of the current Lady Antebellum hit, “You Look Good”.

“It is such a fun song to play so we had to cover it The original track had such a cool groove to it, but on top of that, we added our own feel.” states Ross.

Both the audio and video were produced and engineered by Matt Piche, who currently works with 2016 CCMA Discovery Program Winner, Eric Ethridge.

Adds Ross, “He’s amazing at putting ideas together and playing the instruments seen in the video such as the violin, viola, cello, bass, drums, etc. He added some really creative parts that gave the song a more traditional country atmosphere.”

He continues, “For myself, as an artist, the videos are a lot of fun and allow me to pull away from writing and playing my own material. It is always great to take someone else’s song and make it your own. With being a newcomer in country music these videos are a good way to get the word out there as I continue to write and develop my sound. The hopes for this summer is to line up some festival dates, continue writing/playing my own music, and hopefully make a trip down to Nashville for some writing session. I also plan to do more cover videos because their fun!”
