Who: USS, REPARTEE & The Alpacas
Venue: Mavricks Concert Hall
Where: Barrie, ON
The New World Alphabet Tour made its way to Mavricks Music Hall in Barrie this past week as USS travels across Canada, and select U.S. locations, in support of their newest album, New World Alphabet. Joining them on the Canadian leg of the tour is Newfoundland’s pop sensations, Repartee. We had the chance to catch up with them before the show for an interview. Stay tuned to Canadian Beats for this, soon! Also in attendance was Barrie band, The Alpacas, who have shared the stage with USS before at New Music Fest. There was not an empty spot in the venue. Fans came out in droves to see USS deliver their high energy show that includes acrobatics and crowd surfing. It’s no wonder they consistently sell out shows in “The Six”!
Barrie has been blessed with a string of amazing concerts thanks to the lovely folks at Mavricks and Impact Live Events. To purchase tickets for their upcoming shows, such as Chase Rice and Triumph’s Rik Emmett, check out their website!

I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
