Winners will be announced during East Coast Music Week in Saint John, NB from April 26-30.
Along with the nominee announcement, a complete list of showcasing artists was announced with acts including Owen Meany’s Batting Stance, Fairgale, Dylan Menzie, Tomato/Tomato, Hillsburn, Quake Matthews and so many more.
This year, nominees and winners were picked by a jury of over 200 industry professionals from the East Coast and across Canada so there is no member vote, however there are two fan voted categories, Entertainer of the Year and Music Video of the Year. I’m Tara and I’m a graphic designer from Newfoundland. I am very fortunate to live in a city where there is a ton of amazing musicians. I’ve grown very fond of the local music scene in St. John’s and some of my favorite bands are ones I’ve met through going to local shows.
