It might have been below freezing outside this weekend in Toronto, but Stay Warm Fest stuck to its mission and warmed us up with two nights of incredible shows. Taking place at the Danforth Music Hall, Stay Warm Fest is a two day event full of amazing punk, rock, and metal bands. Packed with excited fans, the crowd was continuously erupting into circle pits, head banging, and never ending crowd surfing. Canadian Beats was lucky enough to catch the second day to see A Wilhelm Scream, Toronto’s own The Flatliners, and headliners Protest the Hero who ended their Canadian tour promoting their new album Pacific Myth at the festival. Check out the photos from the incredible night!

I’ve been involved in music my whole life and have developed a passion for helping out or working in the industry any way I can. I’m interested in helping talented artists gain the recognition they deserve in this crazy business. I am currently studying Communication Studies at York University in Toronto, and working at a local theatre doing marketing and communications, as well as helping out a local festival called Rock the Coliseum. Indie, alt-rock/pop, and metal are my favourites but I’m open to all music genres! If I’m not at a show, I’m doing yoga, grabbing coffee, or looking for some craft beer.
