When: October 26, 2016
Venue: The Phoenix Concert Theatre
Where: Toronto, ON
Fans at The Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto were treated to three female-fronted hard rock groups on Wednesday night. Dorothy, hailing from Los Angeles, were first to hit the stage. Next was the legendary Lita Ford from The Runaways, who treated us with their hit single “Cherry Bomb”, among other classics. Halestorm headlined the night and had the audience captivated right from the beginning of their set when Lzzy Hale got down on her knees in front of her fans. Arejay Hale’s heavy drumming, and high energy performance which often included standing to drum, was a highlight for me to take in also. It was clear to me that this brother and sister duo both front the band.

I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
