Former Anti-Hero front-woman, Rose Cora Perry released the music video for her song “Away I Go” on September 6. The song is off her soon-to-be released album, Onto the Floor”, set for release in November.
The video starts off with Perry laying on the floor reflecting, in the form of flashbacks, of her recording her song. Also in the flashbacks, a story about her husband, looking supportive to her face, then stabbing her in the back. The result is with her on the floor as in the beginning of the video, bringing it to full circle.
The cinematic video was created in a “film noire” style with the purpose of showing the betrayal of love.

I’m an aspiring entertainment journalist from Fredericton, New Brunswick, and a 2017 graduate from St. Thomas University with majors in Journalism and Psychology.
Aside from psychology, my passion has always been for music and storytelling. It is my dream to be in the industry, and music journalism seems to be the perfect fit. Along with a bit of photography dabbling, I think I’m pretty well on on my way.
When I’m not working, I’m listening to music, finding new artists to love, playing Dungeons and Dragons, or playing with my cats.
