The 2016 CCMA Awards Show, hosted by CBC television personality Jessi Cruickshank (Canada’s Smartest Person, The Goods) took place at Budweiser Gardens in London, ON last night. Canadian country music artists strut their stuff on the John Deere Green Carpet before the big awards show took place.
There was a palpable energy in the air from the massive crowds that came out to catch a glimpse of their favourite musicians, who looked amazing on that green carpet! We could feel the love of the Canadian country music family around us during this massive ‘family reunion’ and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! We hope you enjoy our full rundown of the stars that made appearances on the Green Carpet!

I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
