Review- Neon Dreams

Album: To You
Release Date: August 26, 2016
Genre: EDM/Dance

Neon Dreams are back with their new EP, To You. The 7-track long album is the bands second studio release. It is jacked full with sound, vocals and music you just can’t help but dance to.I really enjoyed the direction they went with the album. It has the EDM music in the background, with a lot more added vocals to a lot of music in that genre. The lyrics are very catchy and easy to sing to.

To You opens with “Beat of Your Heart”. It is one of my favourite songs off the EP. It is so easy to fall for, from the danceable beat, the easy to follow words, and the overall feel and atmosphere of the song.

The album also featured big name in the genre, Kardinal Offishall. Offishall featured on the album’s lead single, “Marching Bands”. I think the combination was perfect. Offishall complemented lead singer, Frank Kadillac’s voice.

In honour of the release, Neon Dreams is going on tour. I’ve had the pleasure of dancing my way through one of their shows before and they’re definitely one you can’t miss. Want to listen to this live? Check out their tour dates here to see if they’re coming near you.
