Bissell Park, Ontario, celebrated three days of incredible festivities with continuous spectacular and highly energetic musical performances showcased on three separate stages that entertained enthusiastic crowds during the “Elora Riverfest” this past weekend.
The band The Wet Secret opened up the venue setting the mood and pace for this event followed by Fast Romantics and their talented soloist. As the evening progressed with hit songs by Dear Rouge and Walk of the Earth the audience’s energy escalated and could have continued till early dawn.
Toronto based band Bruce Peninsula captivated the crowd’s attention gathering them around the stage with their polished sound continued the mood for this gala. Whitney Rose with her very unique voice and stylish stage presentation looked absolutely stunning with her blue dress against the sun lit stage.
Canadian hip-hop band Kardinal Offishall and Montreal’s Busty and the Bass rocked and excited the crowd bringing them to their feet in enthusiastically charged song and dance.
Kudos to the hard working teams of organizers and volunteers for pulling this memorable festival together and to all who have attended this celebration, you truly helped by setting a new standard for pure Canadian entertainment and talent.

I shoot live music performances and concerts. I love the excitement of entering a venue, knowing that I’ll be photographing a concert and enjoying the energy of the crowd. There’s nothing like being in a venue and looking at the expressions on the faces of people who are all transfixed by the talent onstage. I shoot about 120 shows each year, averaging 2 bands per show, as well as several all-day and weekend festivals in and around Southern Ontario. From the large venues to very small ones, bright lights or barely lit stages, I hope that my photos capture the enjoyment the artists have in doing what they love to do.
