Winnipeg’s alt-pop band, The Treble, have released their latest single, “Wherever You Go”, produced by Rob Wells (Ariana Grande, Tyler Shaw, Justin Bieber). Coinciding with the release is a captivating and innovative lyric video that utilizes Pixelsticks from over 30 contributors around the world!
The idea to use Pixelsticks came from the band’s own Patrick Hansen (bass) who approached the Pixelstick community. “I sort of approached them out of the blue with this idea to create a really cool lyric video using their pixelsticks. I didn’t know what the response would be, but it was overwhelming. I had over 30 people contribute shots around the globe, from New Zealand, France, Scotland, Brazil, Germany, the US, England, Australia, Scotland and of course Canada. It was AMAZING to see this community all come together to help us make a super unique video for Wherever You Go.”
We anticipate that 2016 is going to continue to be amazing for The Treble. They have already shared the stage with bands like Dear Rouge, Hedley, The Trews and Francesco Yates!
I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
