Gearing up to release a brand new studio album later this year, Tim Hicks will be bringing his newest single “Stompin’ Ground” to radio and country music fans on June 10th. “I’m so excited to release this song and perform it live.” exclaims Hicks. “I’ve never been more comfortable in my own shoes as an artist and songwriter and I think this song is living proof of that. “Stompin’ Ground” is a definite reflection of my need to constantly push my own limits personally and the limits of my music in general.”
With the success of Hicks’ previously released singles; “Young, Alive and in Love,” “Get By,” “Hell Raisin’ Good Time,” and “Here Comes the Thunder” Hicks has been working hard and blazing his own musical trail. Releasing two stellar studio albums; Throw Down and 5:01, as well as being the recipient of the 2014 Canadian Country Music Association’s Rising Star award, Hicks has earned himself a prominent spot in Canadian country music.
Set for a busy 2016 summer packed with tour dates and headlining shows, Hicks will be on the road June/July/August/September promoting his new single “Stompin’ Ground” and upcoming album.

Music has touched my soul since day one. Whether it is performing or sitting down with some of the biggest names in music, I can always be found sharing my profoundly tender affection of music with anyone who will listen. Being a music journalist has allowed me to expand my knowledge of music and interact with some of my biggest childhood heroes. From days of radio broadcasting to sitting back, kicking off my cowboy boots and sharing my adventures with likeminded music fans online has been nothing short of amazing. Canada is full of true musical talent and I look forward to continuing to share my adventures in music with you.
