Gridlock Festival hits Halifax this summer
Save the date, Halifax, your newest festival will be hitting the Citadel High School/Spatz Theatre grounds July 8-10. Gridlock Festival is an indie festival and has a diverse lineup from both Canada and the US. It also has a selection of local talent.
The three-day series consists of headliners like Wintersleep, TR/ST, and American Football. Halifax bands include Dance Movie, Beauts, and Vogue Dots.
The festival is partnered with Sitwell, which will be serving East Coast beer, wine and spirits. There are all ages components for those not of age.

I’m an aspiring entertainment journalist from Fredericton, New Brunswick, and a 2017 graduate from St. Thomas University with majors in Journalism and Psychology.
