New Video released by From The Ruins

From the Ruins, an alternative rock band from Barrie, ON, has recently released the Official Video for their single, “Voices”.  This song is a story of managing the constant, daily struggles of mental illness by finding something positive to help one persevere.  This message quickly became the inspiration of the song as lead singer, Julien Michaud, recognizes the power that music has in coping with mental illness.  From the Ruins chose to release the video this week, as it coincides with Mental Health Week for Canadian Mental Health Association.  They heard the call to #GETLOUD and have their ‘voices’ heard in support of eliminating the stigma associated with mental health issues.  “Voices” is one of three songs on From the Ruins’ debut EP, Wildcat Damage that was released on April 22, 2016.  Be sure to check out the band on social media to stream the entire EP and to stay informed about upcoming shows.  If you are in Central Ontario this weekend, come check out the band performing at The Ranch in Barrie On Friday, May 6th and at The Spill in Peterborough on Saturday, May 7th.  You can also check out our full review of one of the band’s most recent shows here.
