Getting to meet and talk to so many amazing music supporters is really a cool experience.
Tareya: I am really looking forward to the JUNO Songwriters’ Circle! I am so excited and honoured to be sharing the stage with Paul Brandt and Matthew Good! They have been, and continue to be, inspirations to me. I am going to be enjoying the show as a fan as well!
Is there a specific performer you are anxious to see?
Mike: I would have to say Dean Brody! He is one of my favorites and actually took us on tour with him when we had released our first single, he is amazing. Tareya: There are so many great performers this year! I can’t wait to see Bryan Adams and Dean Brody.
If you could give one up & coming Canadian band a piece of advice, what would it be?
Mike: If music is your passion, your true love, then never stop. Don’t let people talk you out of it. If there is no plan B then plan A has to work. Dream big and make it real.
Tareya: It isn’t exactly my advice — it’s Chris Pratt’s, but it has inspired me so I hope sharing it inspires others! “Don’t give up. Apply constant pressure for as long as it takes. It will break before you do.”
What’s up next for you?
