Bobby Wills‘ new EP, Tougher Than Love, will take you to heights of “30,000 Feet” and “Down By The River”. It is a wonderful mix of songs about love in its many forms. In its beginning “Won’t You Be Mine” to the heartache of “You Lost Me There”, you will feel every lyric of these tunes.
Shares Wills, “With this album I feel I have evolved as an artist to a place of, well, comfort. The making of this album was fun, with a capital F. The album organically evolved, and the creative process was intoxicating. We experimented with various sounds and incorporated varied instrumentation; it was an incredible experience to create and record this album!”
This EP 6-pack is the fourth album release for Wills and shows a diverse mix of Classic Country to contemporary. It’s one of those CD’s that you want to play over and over again while cruising down the highway on a beautiful summer day.
Wills continues, “The tracks resonate with me, not only as an artist, but as a music lover as well. This album is about simply enjoying the music and sharing that joy with my amazing fans!”
The current single, “Won’t You Be Mine”, has hit many landmarks. The week of February 15, 2016 saw Wills achieved the position of the top charting Canadian on the BDS Country chart. Peak numbers for the single hit #9 – BDS Country Spins, #6 – BDS Country Audience and #8 – Mediabase Country.
Be sure to catch Bobby Wills out on tour throughout 2016, including performances at Country Thunder (Calgary, AB), Quonset Days (Seven Persons, AB) and Cavendish Beach Music Festival (Cavendish, PEI).
Hello everyone! My name is Linda and I have been a fan of Canadian Music for as long as I can remember. That counts for way too many decades than I want to admit to! I have three primary passions in my life, music, photography and writing. When I can combine them all, I feel I am right where I should be. Though I can appreciate all genres of music, my particular favourite is Country. Canadian Country is moving in leaps and bounds. I love how it is progressing and I’m thankful that I can be a small part of it.
