Are you the lookout for a high energy rock band? Dundas, ON based band, The Dirty Nil may just be the ones to satisfy that need. The trio is made up of Luke Bentham (Guitar/Vocals), Dave Nardi (Bass/ Vocals) and Kyle Fisher (Drums). They have just released a brand new album, Higher Power through Dine Alone Records on February 26, 2016.
Higher Power is chock-full of eleven pure rock tracks, including the newest single, “Zombie Eyed”, which has a strong hard rock vibe that I thoroughly enjoyed. Whether you like the heavier side of The Dirty Nil, or the more mellow rock that the rest of their tracks possess, I am confident you will enjoy this album.
My personal favourites were “No Weaknesses” and “Friends in the Sky”. Both of these tracks have strong vocals, as well as an intense beat that will leave you satisfied. Another that stood out to me was the final song on the album, “Bury Me at the Rodeo”, and if any song on Higher Power is going to get you singing along, I have no doubt this will be the one.
