This Friday February 5th, 2016, Canadian Country Music Icon, Paul Brandt will be getting his head shaved for charity. Brandt made the announcement on Twitter early Wednesday morning.
Calgary’s Country 105 is holding their 13th annual Caring For Kids Radiothon from February 3rd to 5th, in support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Brandt, before his musical career took off, was a pediatric nurse at the hospital. It has always been near and dear to his heart.
Brandt put out the pledge that if $5,000 was raised, his locks would go. Within two hours, the goal was met. He upped the incentive to $10,000 and that is well on its way to being achieved.
In the meantime, you can help the cause by calling (403)820-2700 or on-line at: childrenshospital.ab.ca/PaulBrandt.
Hello everyone! My name is Linda and I have been a fan of Canadian Music for as long as I can remember. That counts for way too many decades than I want to admit to! I have three primary passions in my life, music, photography and writing. When I can combine them all, I feel I am right where I should be. Though I can appreciate all genres of music, my particular favourite is Country. Canadian Country is moving in leaps and bounds. I love how it is progressing and I’m thankful that I can be a small part of it.
