Mad City performed their first show at an acoustic event in Barrie in November, 2015. A review and pictures of their show can be found here. Since November, Dave McNee (vocals/bass) and Adam Vetter (drums) have been working on writing songs for their upcoming album. I sat down with Mad City at the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern on January 19th to discuss what they had coming up in 2016, including the addition of another member to their band this spring. If you like alternative rock music with synth and touches of sounds from the 80’s, you will want to check out this Mad City interview and put April 20th in your calendars to see them back at The Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto.
I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
