Jess Moskaluke’s New Single, “Take Me Home” Will Tug At Your Heartstrings

By: Linda Heldman

“Take Me Home”, Jess Moskaluke’s second release from her “Kiss Me Quiet” EP (MDM Recordings Inc./Universal Music Canada), was released to Canadian Country Radio February 2nd, 2016.

Moskaluke co-wrote this song with Emily Shackleton and Kelly Archer.

I wrote this song with 2 strong female writers that I had wanted to write with for a very long time. It was our first co-write together and it was amazing that we all had a similar heart-wrenching story to share. It made me realize I’m certainly not alone and that other people out there may need to hear this story.” Moskaluke shares.

She is not alone. There are many who will be able to relate to this song.

In late 2015, Moskaluke was the most spun female Canadian artist at Canadian Country Radio, and was also the #2 most spun solo female country artist on Canadian Country Radio, only behind Carrie Underwood (as of November 17, 2015).  Her previous single “Kiss Me Quiet”, was Moskaluke’s first top 10 hit. She is currently the 2015 Canadian Country Music Association® (CCMA®) Female Artist of the Year (her second consecutive title). We can only anticipate what accolades will be bestowed upon this very talented artist in 2016.

Moskaluke has just returned from performing in Exuma, Bahamas. Upcoming dates on her 2016 tour include Trackside Music Fest (London, ON), Manitoulin Country Fest (Little Current, ON), Country Thunder (Calgary, AB) and Havelock Country Jamboree (Havelock, ON).

Hello everyone! My name is Linda and I have been a fan of Canadian Music for as long as I can remember. That counts for way too many decades than I want to admit to! I have three primary passions in my life, music, photography and writing. When I can combine them all, I feel I am right where I should be. Though I can appreciate all genres of music, my particular favourite is Country. Canadian Country is moving in leaps and bounds. I love how it is progressing and I’m thankful that I can be a small part of it.
