Ready The Prince are an Indie/Alternative Trio from the Toronto area.  In late summer 2015 they released an EP titled `RTP`.  Recently the first music Video for “Drunk Without a Drug”, was also released.  The group consists of Stephen DeCiantis – (Vocals, Bass), Daniel Prada – (Guitar), Stefan Loebus – (Drums).

Most of the songs seem to be catchy, filled with ups and downs of heaviness and lightness.  My two favorite songs would probably have to be “Drunk Without a Drug” and “Your way or Mine”.  The EP is a short compilation that seems to showcase the band’s talent quite well.  I fell in love with a lot of their guitar riffs.  The vocals are sweet, and strong – there is almost a bit of a melancholic touch to their music.  I hear a bit of a Billy Talent sound to them, but they also seem to have a unique edge too.

Personally I am hoping they release some more music because I would love to hear more!

The band has an upcoming show happening on February 12, 2016 at the Rivoli so don’t miss out!
