The Inflation Kills is back with their newest EP. This is the first time I’ve listened to them, and I can’t say that it was a disappointment. Their music reminds me of classic rock, the type that my parents used to rock out to. It’s a nice change to the repetitiveness of some songs of today in the genre.

The focus is really drawn in on the instrumental talent of the band. The vocals are strong but not so prominent that they take away from the music. My favourite songs on the album are the opener, “Churches” and one of the middle songs, “Won’t Know”.

If you’re into the classic rock sound and are in need of a nostalgic feeling with a modern twist, this album is for you.
