Photo Review – Counterfeit Chapter

Toronto’s pop punk band, Counterfeit Chapter, performed at All Bundled Up, a local indie music event in York Region at the end of 2015.  The band was out to promote their recently released album, Acoustic EP.  I was impressed with their incredibly tight sound and high energy performance, being reminded of the parallels between this band and a younger Simple Plan.  The band has gone through some recent changes in their lineup, now comprised of Daren Ciemins (vocals/guitar, Chris Allen Hess (vocals/guitar), Alexander Scott (vocals/bass) and Alex Degeus (vocals/drums).  They are ready to face 2016 with lots of performances and more time in the studio.  Stay tuned to Canadian Beats as I will be sitting down with the band in the very near future to discuss the exciting opportunities that await this charming and talented band.  Be sure to connect with Counterfeit Chapter on social media to keep up to date with what they are up to.
