TwoShine County is a Calgary based country duo that people are talking about. They have shared the stage with Blue Rodeo, Kip Moore and even the Sheepdogs while playing the Calgary Stampede. They are releasing their debut EP entitled “Whole Lotta Love”. The six track EP comes after they were nominated at this years ACMA (Association of Country Music in Alberta) for Group/Duo of the year and Rising Star. If you like anything on Country radio today, you will love this EP.
The opening track “Make it With You” pulls you in right away. Your first impression will probably be something along the lines of, this is a perfect blend of everything I hear on the radio, and love! Modern pop country with a hit of rock. TwoShine County reminds me a lot of Country superstars Florida Georgia Line. The title track “Whole Lotta Love” has a rock feel to it while still keeping with the country vibe. The lead track is entitled “Love this Song”, it is a an upbeat song about music and how it feels when that certain song just hits you. That’s s concept every music lover can appreciate.
All in all I thoroughly enjoyed this release, and you will too. I would recommend this EP to anyone into any modern music on the scene right now. Make sure you check out TwoShine County and “Whole Lotta Love”, you will not be disappointed.
