Guelph, ON based singer-songwriter; Matt Monoogian released his album, “HIDE” on November 6, 2015. The album features ten tracks, which were all written by Matt.
“Lashing Out” was the first to stand out to me, with very unique sounds backing his vocals and keeping the listener interested. Matt clearly knows what he’s doing when writing and performing, as is shown all throughout the album.
The eighth song, “Wake Me Up” is upbeat, and the lyrics tackle alcoholism and are actually very in-depth. If you listen to the lyrics, you will see that this song has very strong message, as with some of the other tracks on the album.
Like what you hear? Want to see Matt live? You may just be in luck as he has been on tour, and there are still a few dates:

Nov. 19th – Toronto @ Saving Gigi w/ Raven Shields & Merival
Nov. 25th – Toronto @ The Dakota w/ Lowlands & Alanna Gurr
Nov. 28th – St. Catherine’s @ Mahtay w/ Andrew Johnson
