Review – Moon King

By: Jenna Melanson

EP – Vida Eterna
Release Date – October 16, 2015
Genre – Pop

Toronto, ON based band, Moon King has released a limited edition EP entitled “Vida Eterna”. The EP dropped on October 16, 2015 via Last Gang Records and is only available at select independent record stores with a limited run of 300 copies available.

If you’re a fan of psychedelic pop, this might just be for you. All three songs are trippy and although this is not my style of music, I can see that if you’re a fan of this style, you would enjoy it. I did quite enjoy the third song, which is a live version of “Apocalypse/ Roswell”. This track is slightly less ambient and has a bit more pop influence.
