Hamilton, ON based singer-songwriter, Duane Rutter is about to release his third recording, Crazy Things on October 23, 2015 visa Busted Flat Records. The album features ten tracks and was recorded at Grand Avenue Studios in Hamilton ON and Clubhouse Studios in Rhinebeck NY.

Duane gives off a pure country vibe, through both the vocals, as well as in the style of instrumentation. There are classic country sounding songs, as well as more upbeat modern inspired tracks. A personal favourite for me was the fifth, entitled Who Found Who, which I had trouble not moving my feet to, and singing along.

The Cat is another that immediately caught my attention, as the lyrics were interesting and the music is addictive. If you’re on the lookout for an album that will satisfy classic country music fans, as well as modern country music fans, and even some rock lovers out there, this may just be the one.
