Dirty Ghosts is a rock band that is currently based in San Francisco, although lead vocalist, Allyson Baker is Canadian, a Toronto native to be exact. The band also features Erin McDermott & Tony Sevener.

The Dirty Ghosts have released a brand new album, through Last Gang Records, entitled “Let It Pretend”, which features ten tracks. It starts off with a bang with the lead track, “Some Kids”, which I can’t get enough of. It’s the kind of song that you’ll be singing along with, even before you realize you are.

“Light Like Speed” and “Cataract” are two more songs that immediately caught my attention. I am a sucker for a song with an intense beat, and spotless vocals that are perfectly executed, and that is exactly what these songs have to offer.

I have come to the conclusion that each song on the album is as good as the last, making “Let It Pretend” an album you should all get your hands on.
