Head Of The Herd is a Blues/Rock band from Vancouver, BC. The band consists of five members, Neu Mannas (Lead Vocals, Guitar, Organ, Harmonica), Clayton Frank (Guitar, Harmonica, Percussion, Backup Vocals), Matty Carolei (Drums), Kevin Webster/Cory Curtis (Bass, Backup Vocals), and Brittany Willacy (Keys, Percussion, Backup Vocals). Head Of The Herd has toured all across Canada for Canadian Music Week and have opened for Guns n’ Roses.

Head Of The Herd has released their newest album entitled ‘Birds On The Roof’.  This album is a follow up from the band’s last album entitled ‘By This Time Tomorrow‘, which gained a lot of success. Birds On The Roof features 15 full length tracks which includes Head Of The Herd’s single ‘Live For Love’. I have listened to the album a few times on repeat and can honestly say I really enjoyed it. It sounds amazing and gives the listener a feeling that they should get up and dance along. The two songs that stood out to me on the album are the single ‘Live For Love’ (track two) and ‘The World Is At A Loss Without You’ (track ten). Both of these songs are catchy and are songs I would play on repeat daily. Overall I was surprised by how much this album spoke to me as a listener and also how much I enjoyed listening to it all the way through.

Rating: 4.5/5
