Beard Springsteen is a Punk/Pop artist from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Beard Springsteen is a side project for JE Sheehy, when he is not busy with his other work. The new project is all created by JE Sheehy mixing pop, punk and rock all into songs that has created his first EP.

Beard Springsteen has released a new brand new EP entitled Broken English. This is his first EP since creating Beard Springsteen. The EP features six full length tracks, all with that rock/punk sound that was intended for the EP. The songs on Broken English are said to be a collection of songs between Guided by Voices and Hüsker Dü. This EP was interesting to listen to and it took me a few times of listening to it to pick out two top songs. The songs that I found that pulled me in were ‘I Hate This City’ (track four) and ‘Never Gonna Be The Same’ (Track six). Both of these songs are very catchy and I loved the rock sound that was introduced in them. Overall this album was a good listen, which I would listen to again and suggest you give it a listen as well!

Rating: 3/5
