Brooklyn, NY born, Calgary, AB based artist, Nadia Kazmi has released her highly anticipated EP, entitled LAMB. The EP features seven tracks, including her single, “Dime Store Punks”. LAMB is a teaser for Nadia’s full-length album, which is set to be released in 2016 and I would say she succeeded in teasing, because I for one cannot wait to hear more.

I was hooked as soon as the first track, “Kill The Monster” started playing, and was pleasantly surprised that the songs that followed were just as good. It’s great to hear a super talented female rocker that brings everything she has to the table with her music.

The sixth song, “Winters Queen” evokes a different style and emotion, but continues to pull you in. It’s said it’s her most personal compositions, and you can tell it has strong meaning to her, which of course adds something special to the song for the listener. You can feel the passion in her voice with these vocals.

The EP closes with the single, “Dime Store Punks”, which I had previously heard and couldn’t get enough of. Be sure to check out our interview with Nadia to find out more about the album.
