Edmonton AB based country/pop artist, Alee has released her six song EP, “Say Hello To Goodbye” through Wax Records. The album features both of Alee’s singles, “Only The Strong Survive” and the ever popular, “Moonshine”.

On top of those two tracks, the EP features a great mixture of music that leaves you wanting more. The second song, “Say Hello To Goodbye” is one of my favourites, following “Moonshine” which of course I can’t get enough of. “Say Hello To Goodbye” is an upbeat song that will have you singing along, as it’s the perfect “revenge” track, with lyrics such as “If you think I’ll forget everything that you did, well you’re wrong baby, wrong baby” and “Next time you call me up cause I’m on your mind, say hello to goodbye”.

I found it hard to choose one favourite song, because each song has a way of pulling you in, “Happily Ever After” is another that stuck with me, it’s still upbeat, and has a more pop driven sound. I can picture each and every one of these songs blasting on the radio, and what’s even more impressive, I can picture them each being played live, with fans singing along. Alee knows how to keep the listener interested and I for one, cannot wait to hear more from this rising country artist.

Alee will be performing at some festivals this summer, such as Cavendish Beach Music Festival on July 12th and Taste of Edmonton Festival on July 22nd, if you’re able to make it to these or any other of her shows, I recommend you take the opportunity.
