Ontario based country/pop artist, Scotty James has released a three song EP entitled Summer Jams. The EP is a three track sample of Scotty’s upcoming debut album, “Streets” which is due out September 18, 2015.
The EP opens with Scotty’s debut single, “Toes” which is adorable, and you won’t want to miss out on hearing this track. The lyrics are completely precious, and will have anyone saying “Awww” all of the way through. You can see the lyric video for “Toes” HERE. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CVY1whtcQ4 I found myself drifting away in the soft spoken sound of his voice, and I have a feeling that the same thing will happen to you.
The second track is entitled, “Sugar Don’t”, which follows in suit, featuring charming lyrics, and those silky smooth vocals that will have all the ladies captivated. I can see that Scotty is on his way to becoming the next country music heartthrob.
“Cancun” closes the EP and leaves you wanting more from Scotty. I, for one cannot wait for the full album to be released, because I need more. “Cancun” is one of those songs that make you feel like you went through the events described in the song, which of course shows his talent for presenting the lyrics to the listener in a genuine way.
Keep an eye out for more from Scotty in the coming months, because I am completely convinced he is not going anywhere, but up.
