Stettler, AB based country band, Domino has released their album, “Ghost” which features 7 full length tracks which you will want to add to your summer playlist.

The album starts out with “Down by the Bonfire” which has a bluegrass twang to it, and you will want to be up and dancing to it, and of course singing with the band.  I can picture this song being played live, with amazing energy from the band and the crowd.

The fourth track, “On My Way” is another of my favourites, it’s a slower track and is sung with emotion. You will find yourself singing along with this track, which could be called an anthem. The lyrics are infectious and with lyrics such as “I’m moving, yeah I’m moving on…I always knew I was tough, but it took you to call my bluff” and “If I could find a way, I’d leave this place, there’d be no trouble, I’m not afraid, I won’t look back, ain’t giving so slack, I’m back on track, I’m on my way”, it makes you wonder what the background of the song is, because you can tell there’s a story behind it.

The last song I want to touch on is the sixth track, “Big Blue Sky” which goes back to the upbeat, energetic sound from the first track. I couldn’t stop myself from singing along with this track, especially when the chorus hit.

I would recommend any country fans head over to iTunes and check out this album, it’s full of energy and emotion, and is sure to get you up on your feet…what more can you ask for?
