Niagara based Pop/Rock band, Xprime is made up of four members, Neil Carson, Phil Taylor, Gab Sid & Steph Mercier. The band has released their new EP, entitled “PM” today (June 4, 2015). Niagara fans lucked out and had a special early release party which took place last night at L3 Nightclub, whereas the official CD Release party will take place tonight at The Rivoli in Toronto. The EP features six tracks, and from the opening track, “All To Myself” all the way to the final track, “This Time”, I was hooked. In these situations where I enjoy the whole album thoroughly, I find it hard to choose one song to focus on. The entire EP is high energy and makes me excited to read the upcoming review of their CD release party which will be done by one of our newest Canadian Beats members, Katt, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.

“Dance Tonight” is one of the songs that I feel the need to recommend. It has a great beat and it’s fun to sing along with, which is always a good sign! I can see that this EP would be a hit among fans of all genres, especially Pop & Rock, and I can picture most of these songs being played at parties throughout the summer, and if you’re like me, you are always on the lookout for good summer playlist tracks!
