Leeroy Stagger isn’t new to the music scene. ‘Dream It All Away’ is his tenth studio record. The album was produced by Russell Broom and recorded in Calgary and Lethbridge.
The album features 10 songs that are surely to impress. It was hard to pick a favourite or two, but I think I narrowed it down.
The opening track, “Something Beautiful”, is super catchy. The strong and smooth vocals fit in perfectly to the country vibe. And I love, love, love the guitar solo!
Other tracks that stood out are the third, “Happy Too”, and fourth, “Living in America”. Don’t get me wrong, the later parts of the album are quite good too.
‘Dream It All Away’ is a perfect demonstration that country music isn’t only about beer, trucks and a girl. It shows both the upbeat and smoother sides of the genre too. It’s evident how mature of an artist Stagger is and he knows how to make the sounds work.
Need an album for your country playlist? I highly recommend this one.

I’m an aspiring entertainment journalist from Fredericton, New Brunswick, and a 2017 graduate from St. Thomas University with majors in Journalism and Psychology.
Aside from psychology, my passion has always been for music and storytelling. It is my dream to be in the industry, and music journalism seems to be the perfect fit. Along with a bit of photography dabbling, I think I’m pretty well on on my way.
When I’m not working, I’m listening to music, finding new artists to love, playing Dungeons and Dragons, or playing with my cats.
