Kevin Maimann & The Pretty Things are a Rock trio from Edmonton, Alberta. They like to refer to their music has a Dark Rock, with influences from Katy Perry and Bathory.

I have gotten a chance to listen to the album early and can say that it is like nothing I have recently heard before. That being said I was surprised I enjoyed the EP as much as I did. The EP has four full length tracks on it and I have picked out my top two favorite songs from it. One of my favourite songs is the second track on the EP, entitled ‘Monster’. The song starts out with acoustics and added drum. It is the slowest song that the EP has on it and is about what the person in the song feels about themselves. The second song off the EP that I liked is called ‘Not For Me’, this is also the first track and single off of the EP. It has a fast beat and will have any listener rocking out to it. The song is excellently written, with great vocals by Kevin, it is no wonder this song is the bands next single. I would recommend any rock fans to check out Kevin Maimann & The Pretty Things!
