Toronto, ON based easy rock band/ marketing team, Blimp Rock have release their sophomore album, “Sophomore Slump”. Blimp Rock will be embarking on a “Powerpoint Tour of Ontario” starting tomorrow (April 11, 2015). On each of these dates, they will present a Powerpoint presentation on their business plan to create a festival that will take place on a blimp floating over Lake Ontario, the presentation will be followed by a rock concert. (See Dates Below)
The album features ten tracks, including the first single, “Let’s All Stay In Tonight” which is the ninth song on the album and is said to be “an endorsement of the indoors”. This song describes me, completely…as I’m definitely a homebody.
I enjoyed this album, from the start to the finish. Some of my favourites were “Vampires”, “Music Industry Blues” and “In The Doghouse”. If you are a fan of easy listening and rock music, this is an album for you.
