Eleven Past One has stormed the Canadian music scene since releasing their highly successful single “The World Is Ours” in 2013. However, they’ve been working at this for much longer. Travelling across the country in an RV serenading locals with their voices and astonishingly good looks in an attempt to gain momentum didn’t go as they had hoped. It was releasing that single, “The World Is Ours” that would later see Eleven Past One signed with Warner Music Canada. Today, touring Canada, being interviewed on various television and radio stations, Eleven Past One has come quite far, and has worked incredibly hard to get to where they are. Their latest ear soothing melody is a cover of Spandau Ballet’s “True”. It is a very sweet sounding, yet powerful cover. The vocals are so soft and expressive. I loved listening to the sounds of the guitars, drums and bass as well. The tune of the song is so sweet, almost as if the band is trying to send a message; it made me a bit emotional, yet I can’t stop listening to it. Eleven Past One did a wonderful job covering Spandau Ballet’s “True”.
